On 10-11 August 2020, MPIA conducted a two-day training on PVsyst, a software commonly used for solar photovoltaic (PV) design, sizing, simulation, data analysis, etc.
The training was held ahead of the bidding submission for the fourth Large Scale Solar (LSS4) programme, which is also known as LSS@MEnTARI.
LSS@MEnTARI is part of the economic stimulus package by the government amid the COVID-19 pandemic and only open to local companies, maximum capacity of each project under the programme is 50 MWac, compared to 100 MWac in LSS3; this would enable participation of more industry players.
