On 24 August 2021, the Malaysian Investment Development Authority’s (MIDA) Senior Deputy Director of Green Technology Division Yusni Md Yusop spoke at the MPIA High Tea, which was held online.
The government’s policy and incentive related to green technology investment were explained during the event. Yusni also elaborated the details of Green Investment Tax Allowance (GITA) and Green Income Tax Exemption (GITE) application.
In his welcome speech, MPIA President Davis Chong said the investment in solar photovoltaic systems did not slow down despite the COVID-19 pandemic, with the entire 300 MW quota for the Net Offset Virtual Aggregation (NOVA) programme under the NEM 3.0 fully applied in three months after its opening in April.
