MPIA President Davis Chong and Vice President Dato’ Ir. Guntor Tobeng met with the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Malaysia H.E. Bulat Sugurbayev and Counsellor Samat Zhanabay from the Embassy of Kazakhstan on 1 November 2021.
During the meeting, solar energy adoption and development were discussed. Ambassador Sugurbayev invited MPIA members to participate in the solar projects in Kazakhstan.
Kazakhstan has initiated its green transition and targets half of its power generation to come from renewable sources including solar energy by year 2050.
