On 12 March 2021, MPIA had an online meeting the Director of Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation’s (MATRADE) E & E, ICT and Machinery & Equipment Section, Naim Abdul Rahman and his team.
According to MATRADE, the exports of solar photovoltaic (PV) cells and semiconductors exceeded RM17 billion in 2020.
Apart from the discussion about the local solar PV ecosystem, the meeting explored the potential of exporting the solar PV services from Malaysia.
