A forum was held by MPIA on 5 March 2021 to collect feedback from industry players on various issues affecting the local solar photovoltaic (PV) industry.
The forum was joined by MPIA members as well as representatives from Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (KeTSA), Energy Commission (ST), Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA), Malaysian Investment Development Authority, as well as Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Centre (MGTC).
Issues including new requirements and guidelines for the Net Energy Metering (NEM) programme were raised and discussed at the forum, which was moderated by MPIA’s secretary Michael Leong and Dato Ir. Ali Askar Sher Mohamad.
