The MPIA Committee held a discussion about the Data Collection System (DCS) project on 12 March 2021.
DCS was proposed by MPIA as an alternative for solar photovoltaic (PV) system owners to meet the data monitoring requirement under the Distribution Code.
The online meeting discussed the tasks ahead following the approval granted by the Energy Commission (ST) to implement the DCS project. Among the tasks would include seeking clarification from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) on licensing requirement for the DCS.
