MPIA met the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) on 8 October 2020 to discuss the latest guideline on Green Investment Tax Allowance (GITA) and Green Income Tax Exemption (GITE).
The discussion focused on implementation of GITE which has been extended to include solar leasing activities that allow deployment of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems by building owners and occupants with minimal or zero capital expenditure
