MPIA Q1 High Tea
The first MPIA High Tea was held on 25 February 2020.Senior Vice President of Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT) Dr Raslan Ahmad presented the Smart City Development initiative by the government and invited MPIA members to participate in the initiative.
MPIA President Chin Soo Mau said during the high tea that solar energy adoption in the country had received encouraging response, as shown in the 102 MW new capacity of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems approved by the Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA) under Net Energy Metering (NEM) scheme, compared to less than 20 MW approved in year 2018.
