Meeting with MIGHT
The MPIA delegation led by committee member David Khoo had a meeting with the Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT), an agency under the Prime Minister’s Department, in January 2020.
Among the topics discussed were smart grid, solar roadmap and smart city development initiative, which had been identified as the areas that both parties could work together.
During the 5th ASEAN Smart Grid Congress (ASGC 5) hosted by MPIA in December last year, MIGHT presented a paper on its smart grid project which involves development of policy framework, capacity building, awareness, and a demo-scale smart grid in Melaka.
