Meeting with the Melaka State Executive Councillor
In conjunction to our upcoming Solar National Roadshow in Melaka, the secretariat along with some of the committee members have made an effort to meet the Melaka State Exco of Housing, Local Government and Environment, Yang Berhormat Datuk Tey Kok Kiew to invite him to attend our event as the Guest of Honor.
The MPIA delegation was led by Vice Presidents Tunku Akmaludin Zakri Tunku Dao Zhuri and Prof Sulaiman Shaari, as well as committee member David Khoo.
The national agenda on renewable energy was discussed; YB Datuk Tey told that the Melaka State Government is committed to renewable energy, adding that the government could lead by example with installation of photovoltaic (PV) system and harvest solar energy from the rooftops of government’s buildings.
It was a fruitful session and with that, we are honored to have YB Datuk Tey to agree to attend the Solar National Roadshow in Melaka on 23rd July 2019.
